At this time, there is no direct threat to any of our schools, and we are taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
We encourage families to talk to their children about the importance of not sharing or reposting these kinds of messages.
Somerton School District No 11 administration is aware of the threats that are going around on social media. We want to assure the community that the Somerton Police Department is aware of the situation, and we have been in constant communication with them.
